These are the blog pages of the Hawkins Family: Ashley, Karen, and little Sammy. We used to live in North Alabama until the fall of 2006 when God called us rather suddenly to move into a new season of life. We decided to give up my job with NASA and our wonderful (huge) house, and move to Charlotte, NC where we have attended a school of ministry and are begining to discover with greater dimension the plan that God has for our lives.
Our primary goal in creating this site was to keep in touch with our beloved family and friends back home. We owe so much to everyone of them who has been so supportive spiritually, emotionally, and practically, which has allowed us to launch out into our destiny. We are growing so much, and my desire through this site is to bring encouragement and provoke healthy conversations about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We are moving away from the useless forms of ceremonial religion, and into the life-giving relationship with God. We hope you are blessed as you check us out.
